For renowned non-profit community housing provider New Zealand Housing Foundation this project consisted of large volume earthworks remediation prior to commencement of civil. WCC were able to add value to the project by importing spoil from other con-current projects to help offset the large volume of contaminated material discovered during early site investigations. Density of the development required upgrade of the wastewater network into site was addressed with a new directionally drilled line across Cambridge Terrace.
Differentiating levels onsite were addressed with new timber retaining walls. Parking and vehicle circulation spaces required a mix of permeable and impermeable surfaces paved areas totalling over 24,000 individual pavers.
